Privacy Policy

Forgia is a Trading Reflection Platform in development. Forgia is operated by a sole proprietor based in India ("Forgia", "we", "us"). We are responsible for (the controller of) the personal data described here. This policy covers the forgiahq.com website and the Forgia waitlist. When the Forgia app launches, we will publish an updated policy and tell waitlist members by email.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Which signup form on the page you used.
- Technical data our providers need to deliver the website and our emails, such as your IP address and whether an email was delivered.
- Total visit counts from Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- If you accept analytics cookies: pages you open and actions such as button clicks, via Google Analytics 4. This is not tied to your waitlist email.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To keep your place on the waitlist and send you the Trading Rules Checklist. Legal basis: your consent and your request.
- To email you updates about Forgia, including early access and launch news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
- To see which parts of the site are used, from Vercel visit counts that do not use cookies. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
- To measure pages and actions with Google Analytics 4, only after you accept analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep a record of unsubscribes so we never email you again after you leave. Legal basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests.
In India, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who handles it
We use these service providers. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
- Supabase stores the waitlist.
- Resend sends our emails and keeps your email address, delivery status and unsubscribe status.
- Vercel hosts this website and provides cookieless visit counts (Vercel Web Analytics).
- Google provides Google Analytics 4 and processes that analytics data for us. We do not use it for advertising.
- Dodo Payments will process payments as merchant of record when paid plans open. It is not used for the waitlist.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not share it with brokers or advertisers.
International transfers
Our providers may process your data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data from the UK or the European Economic Area is transferred, we rely on our providers' safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension where the provider is certified.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist data until Forgia launches plus 12 months, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. After you unsubscribe, we keep only a minimal record of your email address marked "do not contact", so we respect your choice.
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted.
Cookies
The waitlist does not need an account cookie. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies.
Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies only after you choose Accept on the cookie notice. If you choose Decline, or you have not chosen, those cookies stay off. We do not set advertising cookies. We do not use this data for ads.
Google Analytics 4 anonymises IP addresses by default. It does not store your full IP address. The reports are aggregate: which pages and actions are used, not a profile we combine with your email.
You can opt out at any time. Use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Decline, or delete the analytics cookies in your browser. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Declining does not affect your place on the waitlist.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before.
- California residents can ask to know, delete and correct their personal information. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
- In India, you can access, correct and erase your data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise your rights for you, and raise a grievance.
To use any of these rights, email hello@forgiahq.com. We may ask you to confirm your email address first. We reply within one month (UK and EU), within 45 days (California), or within the time required by Indian law.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), your local data protection authority in the EU, or the Data Protection Board of India. Please contact us first so we can try to help.

Children
Forgia is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has joined the waitlist, email hello@forgiahq.com and we will delete their data.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure.
Not financial advice
Forgia is a Trading Reflection Platform. It is not a broker, does not connect to your trading account and does not provide trading signals or financial, investment or trading advice. Forgia does not guarantee any trading results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and all trading decisions are your own.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. This does not take away any rights you have under the data protection or consumer laws of the country where you live.
Changes
We will post any updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We will email waitlist members about important changes.
